    Ingredients (serves 4)

    • 4 thick slices of brioche (2 to 3 cm)
    • 2 bananas, peeled and thinly sliced
    • 8 squares of dark chocolate (minimum 50%)
    • 50 g of crushed hazelnuts
    • 20 g of brown sugar

    Preparation on the griddle

    1. Preheating
    Turn on the griddle.

    2. Toasting the brioches
On one area of the griddle, toast the slices of brioche for about 3 minutes.

    3. Bananas and hazelnuts
On the other side, arrange the banana slices and roast them for 1 minute. Sprinkle with brown sugar, let them caramelise slightly, then move them to the side.
Next, toast the crushed hazelnuts for 20 seconds, then set aside.

    4. Chocolate
Turn over the slices of brioche. Place 2 squares of dark chocolate on each one. After 2 minutes, spread the melted chocolate with a spatula.

    5. Assembly
Arrange the roasted bananas on the chocolate brioches, sprinkle with toasted hazelnuts, then cut the brioches and hold them together with a small toothpick.

    Tasting

A simple, generous and comforting dessert, best enjoyed warm to fully appreciate the contrast between the crisp brioche, the melting chocolate and the caramelised sweetness of the banana.
